Spent most of last week in Edinburgh for Erin + Glen’s wedding (whilst taking a sneaky short break + hunting wild Haggis). We returned to Birmingham with the strangest Scottish-American accent. I don’t even have the words to describe this wedding so I will just make a noise. FLOB-A-LOB-A-DOO-DAAA-HAGGIS.HAGGIS.INFINITE-AWESOME-TRIPLE-RAINBOW-X-6-BAJILLION-HAGGIS.HAGGIS (in an American-Scottish accent).

Pippa + Philippa got married at the AMAZING Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I’m a bit of a sucker for interesting architecture + this place just has it all. Whilst you were all watching England draw 1-1 with the USA, we were making awesomeness.
The lovely Kelly at Boho chose to end her Civil Marriage feature week with Pippa + Philippa’s wedding, which can be found here.

Yesterday we hung out around London with Erin + Glen. Erin is originally from New Yoik and Glen is from Atlanta, they’ve moved to Scotland for a while + will having a 27 guest-humanist ceremony in Edinburgh next week with subtle subtle incorperation of Miss Havisham, Alice in Wonderland and David Bowie. It’s gonna blow our mind.

So this is Abbie + Steve. They’re getting married at Brownsover Hall this winter so invited us down to their crib in Worcester to make pictures.
And made pictures we did.
When we weren’t getting gobbled up by a combined harvester, we were hovering over them like weirdos.
This is how we know that we’ll never be very good at photographing wildlife.
You know those crappy cloud effect backdrops you had for school photos? Totally bringing that back.
Love me some tree stumps.
There’s only one way to make this more awesome would have been to add a RADICAL RANDOM RAINBOW + then go to town with some crazy futuristic spot colour “special” effect.
SO I DID. Abbie + Steve are gonna want this ordered as wallpaper and carpet for every room in their house.
And now we return to our regular scheduled viewing…
I like to think that Abbie had no idea what he was doing.
ARH! I wanna friggin’ eat this!
You know what’s awesome? Light is awesome.
Then we headed back to Abbie + Steves place.
Remember what I just told you about being a wildlife photographer? Cinnamon is the best spy cat in the world.

We went to the black country living museum + it was bad ass. Dani LOVES reading every.single.detail + follows the tourist route religiously whereas my attention span is real short + i’ll simply head in the direction of something shiny, or atleast as far away from real people who dress up + role play as “olden days” people in their spare time. They freak me out.
You know that I mention that Dani spends a long time reading about every part of everything? This is my casually-waiting-my-wifey-to-finish-reading face.

Abbie + Steven are getting married this winter, so we caught up with on possibly the hottest day ever! Abbie + Steven are an awesome couple who cringe/vomit when they “experience” a spot colour image, + although it was INCREDIBLY tempting to freak them out with some early 90’s photoshop skillz, we resisted. Quick story to this image too. Abbie + Steven went out a week or so before to scout out a few ideas/locations for their engagement session + came across a wide open crop field. As we stepped into the field, a combined harvester was literally plowing away at it. Fortunately, there was still a small part of the field left, which we had about 15 minutes with before the harvester gobbled it all up, despite nearly getting gobbled up ourselves, we made pictures, + obviously that’s the main thing 
Jeez, kinda feel like we’re blogging about one of our best pals weddings here. Sarah + Gary booked us an age ago, it’s been amazing to see a couple, mainly Sarah get SO, SO EXCITED about the big day. Major high-fives to you + both your families, you all made us feel incredibly welcome + we had an absolute ball! Can’t wait to share more photos when you get home.
Managed to steal this from Sarah’s facebook page. Featuring heavily in someones “I’VE JUST GOT FREAKIN’ MARRIED” facebook update is one mighty high point.
We wholeheartedly agree with Sarah’s comments, fantastic photographers and fantastic sneak preview piccies, so excited about seeing the rest when they get back from this amazing adventure they call ‘honeymoon’.

Having a wonderful time in Mauritius however we are off to Dubai today. You guys would love it here – so many photo ops…….have told Gaz that we are bringing you both away with us next time!

Our brains throw up ideas a bajillion times a day and most of them get forgotten, ignored or just never come together. This one slipped through the net and GOT DID. We’ve been working on this little project since late last year and we’ve been busting a gut trying not to share what we’re up to in case it never came together.
So, this is us doing a bit of life…
This was an amazing moment. We’re shooting away in a derelict part of town, the sun is going down + we’re working like crazy whilst the light is right. Suddenly, someone drives around on their scooter + lets us use it for this shot. Random/awesome… Rawesome.
We’ve worked with Emily for atleast 3 years now, she’s radical.
