Please read this page carefully as by completing the following form you will be entering into a binding legal contract for your wedding photography. Late cancellations (these are cancellations of less than 72 hrs before the scheduled commencement) will be billed at 50% of the agreed shoot price and this is payable within 1 month.
1 ) This constitutes an order for wedding photographs and prints. It is understood that any and all proofs, sample prints and negatives remain the property of the photographer, Chris Barber unless other arrangements are made. Regardless, they may be used for advertising, display and other promotional purpose (in any format) by Chris Barber Media.
2 ) Although all care will be taken with the negatives and photographs taken at the wedding, photographer limits any liability for loss, damage or failure to deliver pictures for any reason to return of all deposits made.
3 ) Upon completion of this form, Chris Barber Media will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make any other reservations for that time and date. For this reason, all deposits are non-refundable, even if the date is changed or the wedding is cancelled for any reason.
4 ) A deposit of £200 is due at sending of this contract, with the remainder to be paid 1-2 months prior to the wedding day. Arrangements can be made to pay in instalments if you wish, however, please note that paid amounts prior to the wedding day are not refundable.
5 ) All travel, accommodation, meal and transport costs will be met by the client. You will be informed of these exact costs prior to your wedding. Travel expenses are incurred outside a 20 mile radius of our leaving point. Accommodation charges may be incurred if the wedding is 60 miles outside our leaving point to reduce the risk of damage to your photos and lateness on the day. Accommodation is at the clients discretion (but is strongly advised) and usually costs an additional £100. The photographer reserves the right to remove or charge expenses for "Pre-venue visits" and "Pre-wedding photoshoots" if the intended location is outside a 20 mile radius.
6 ) There is to be no other official photographer other than Chris Barber Media (and associate photographers) present on the day. Please understand that we want certain photographic elements of the day to be made quick & easy for you and guests whilst maintaining high quality images. For this reason, Chris Barber Media reserve the right to refuse guests taking photographs if considered to be obtrusive to the professional photographs.
7 ) Please be aware that with packages that include above 5 hours coverage, we kindly ask for the client/venue to provide food and refreshments for both photographers. If you are unable to provide this, please inform us so we can provide our own on the day.
8 ) All album, products and services provided are non-refundable. It is understood that, in the event of any unforeseen circumstances causing loss of photographic record, the photographer will only be responsible for the return of all the money paid to date, although every effort will be made to retake the photographs.
9 ) Clients are given 2 complimentary proofing stages when album designs are being created. Further requested proofs from the client are charged at £50 per request.
10 ) Photographs, albums, and other products are usually available around 3-4 weeks after ordering. However, during busy times, this can extend to 6-7 weeks.
11 ) Products are charged at current rate and not at rate when wedding was booked. Packages remain the same as when booked regardless of any changes to the current packages.
12 ) Every image that you preview online is individually edited and retouched so that you preview high quality online versions of your photographs. This process takes up to 2 weeks, so please understand that we're using (usually the Honeymoon period) to ensure your photos are ready for your return.
