After getting married ourselves in June 2009, we understand that it's pretty darn important that you are relaxed on your wedding day. We want you to enjoy your day as much as possible, which is normally how we obtain the best images.
We want you to feel like you've invited friends (with snazzy kit) to your wedding day, not dictating strangers that don't understand your wedding. Overall, our aim of every wedding is to understand our couples wedding in detail by building a rapport with everyone involved and translating what we know in order to create a selection of modern images that capture portraits and describe the story of the couples wedding day.
Ever seen those posed/cheese-tastic images in your Mum and Dad's wedding album? I'm not sure if it was even acceptable in the 80's but one thing we do know is that this isn't our style. Process
Pre-booking Consultation
Some couples prefer to meet us before booking, which is great, because we'd love to meet you too and share our selection of albums and products. This is an informal "chat" about your day and basically a chance to get to know each other and share our work in more detail. If you would like to arrange a no-obligation consultation, please feel free to contact us.
We've made our new website as interactive and personal as possible so you can have a chance to get to know us if you simply haven't got the time to arrange a consultation. We welcome everyone to read our Blog, Twitter and About Us section which all contain up-to-date information about what we're working on, photos, videos and recent weddings.
Engagement Session & Pre-Wedding Consultation
Our Engagement Sessions are short, fun, photo-shoots that take place around 1-2 months before your wedding day. Engagement Sessions are included as part of most our packages and basically give you a chance to see how we will work at your wedding.
We know (presume) that neither of you are super models. We're not expecting you to show up and "flaunt your stuff". Everyone featured in our portfolio has never had a photo-shoot before and most of which actually don't like having their photo taken. It's our job to make you both comfortable and to enjoy having your photo taken, and (more importantly) enjoy looking at your finished photographs for years to come!
The Pre-Wedding Consultation is perhaps the single most important part of the services we offer as it gives us chance to get to know each other. We consider this to be vital in order to get amazing images because if you don't feel comfortable with us taking your photo, then amazing photos aren't going to happen.
The Wedding Day
We usually arrive 30 minutes prior to whatever time we tell you because we're super organised. Depending on your package, we'll usually try and grab a few shots of the bridal preparations and meet the Groom at the ceremony venue before the wedding to snap a few funky Groomsmen shots. We'll stay as long as you choose (See Packages) and will not rest until we have every shot possible and impossible.
Viewing/Proofing
We aim to have your photos ready upon return from your Honeymoon (usually around 2 weeks after your wedding day). We'll go through all your images, editing/retouching each final image to be previewed by you.
Our snazzy new website allows couples to log-in to their own preview area and view their wedding photographs. We can also invite friends and family to view the photographs, however, the area is password protected and the option for friends/family to see the images is completely up to you.

We're Personal!
We're pretty hot at keeping our couples happy. We insist on meeting our wedding couples when possible to discuss the wedding in as much detail as possible and we're available 7 days a week if you should need to contact us regarding your package, recommending other elements of your wedding day or just for a chat. Our service always reflects your individual style and you can expect tailor made packages to suit your wedding day.
We're Fresh!
At only 20 and 21, we're the spring chicks of the wedding photography industry and we certainly don't consider that to be a bad thing.
But you won't be experienced.
WRONG! We've covered over 40 weddings in the last year alone at a variety of venues, in the wind, rain, snow and fire (I lied about the fire bit). Chris' non-wedding client list includes the BBC, Dreamfinder Productions, Blue Hippo Media, Birmingham Live and The Daily Star.
We're Tech Nerds (The cool kind, though)!
We always have one eye on the newest kit available within our industry. We use high-spec equipment to ensure that we always provide the highest quality final images. We're in touch and listen to our couples and fully aware how important it is to have your images on CD or how vital it is to instantly share your images via Facebook and play your slideshow on the web or iPod to your friends at work.

Can I create my own package?

What is an engagement session?
A month or two before your wedding, we'll meet up to discuss timings and other arrangements for the day. After, we'll go out and grab a few photos of you both. This gives you a chance to see how we work so you can relax on your wedding day. We'll also come away with some awesome photos which can be previewed via our swanky online client area. Many couples have different ideas on how to use these images, a few examples include; "Thank you" cards, "Save the Date" cards, guest books, mounted prints for guests to sign at the wedding or just as wall-art for your home.
Why two photographers?
Because two is better than one, right? We both see and shoot things differently so by having two photographers, you'll have a selection of varying styles and angles.

Any back-up plans?
Oh boy! We have back-up plans for our back-ups, back-up plans. This includes a hundred different back up plans that your camera enthusiast uncle hasn't got such as back-up kit, insurance, off-site storage and a variety of back up formats (DVD's/External Hard-drives etc). You're in safe hands.
